FSFI Summer Launch
The Fondy Space Flight Institute is pleased to announce that it is planning the First Annual FSFI Convention!
WHAT:
The first annual FSFI Convention, Reunion, and Cookout Rocket Launch, or FSFICon I (2006) or FSFI-CRCRL.
WHEN:
Tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 27, 2006 at around 1300 (1PM) CDT, with a rain date of Sunday, May 28, 2006.
WHERE:
Tentatively at the Fond du Lac Soccer Association Complex, with Buttermilk Park as the backup in case the Soccer Complex as a game.
WHO:
ALL MEMBERS, past AND present, are REQUIRED to attend. This means everyone from 2002 to the present, the current JV team, and the Woodworth team. We are hoping for a turnout of upwards of thirty people! If you know of anyone who wants to be a member in the future, invite them too!
WHY:
To allow a stress-free place to meet the founders of FSFI, talk about the history, and have fun. And launch some rockets and eat brats!
WHAT TO BRING:
Any model rockets you want to launch (with engines and wadding and such) and some soda and/or food if you are feeling generous. And of course, an FSFI or rocket-related shirt.
See you then - hopefully it fits in everyone's schedule, post here if not!
So mark this on your calendar, it should be fun!
