Donn Swaby
Chad Harris
Donn Swaby plays Chad Harris, an aspiring musician/music producer form Los Angeles who arrives in Harmony in search of his real parents, but finds love with Whitney Russell instead.
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Swaby earned a BFA in Acting at Boston University's School of Theatre Arts, a conservatory founded in classical training. His regional theatre credits include "Seeking the Genesis," "A Raisin in the Sun," "A Preface to the Alien Garden," "Fear Itself," "Romeo and Juliet," "A View from the Bridge" and "Stop and Frisk." His film credits include portraying Yoeman Davis in the Ridley Scott film "G.I. Jane" with Demi Moore and the character Glasses in the film "Raw Nerve" with Mario Van Peebles. His television credits include "The Sopranos" and several radio and television commercials. In addition to acting, Swaby has produced Sam Shepard's "Fool for Love," which starred Lindsay Korman and Travis Schuldt, which also marked his directorial debut in Los Angeles. He also produced and starred in William Hanley's three act play, Slow Dance on the Killing Ground. Swaby has also written several short stories as well as two plays and three screenplays.
Born on August 20, Swaby's hobbies include writing and playing music; he plays bass in his current band Dynasty in Los Angeles, and plays lead guitar in other various projects.
