WELCOME TO YOUR “ONE STOP” LAND OF THE GIANTS REFERENCE RESOURCE!
When I first heard that the Polar Lights division of Playing Mantis was re-issuing the Aurora “Land Of The Giants” model kits, I began a search for reference material that eventually spanned over four and a half months!
What I found was that while the show’s fans are dedicated, they are smaller in number than those of Irwin Allen’s better-known shows like “Lost In Space.” As a consequence, “Land Of The Giants” is largely overlooked or ignored by most media.
This fact didn’t make finding references any easier. On a good day, I might find one or two pictures here and there, which (after forgetting where I found them a few times!) I began saving to a folder on my computer. When all was said and done, I ended up with more than 150 images, which turned out to be a valuable and easy to use tool for my modeling projects.
With the release and growing popularity of the Polar Lights and Lunar Models “LOTG” kits, I make this same reference resource available to you now.
