Starry Plough is staffed entirely by volunteer workers and recieve
no financial support from outside the IRSP. Producing a national newspaper costs
big money. That’s why most are owned by millionaires like Rupert Murdoch
and Richard Desmond, or by global corporations like the Mirror Group. Last
year they also got £4.9 billion from corporate advertising.
The Starry Plough is different. We rely entirely on the money from our sales, and
especially on donations from our readers and supporters. Without them we
couldn’t be the independent republican socialist voice that we are.
Your donation will help us
get more reports from across Ireland and around the world. It will help us
distribute The Starry Plough more widely.
Your donation also helps produce thousands of leaflets and posters used in
our political work and campaigns.
