Barford, 20th October

Chris Mitchell (219) took victory in the opening heat after coming under pressure from Paul Broatch (725) on the last lap. Paul Broatch hit the front in heat 2, although he had to try and dispose of Barry Goldin (401) in order to win the track championship. With 2 to go, Broatch saw Goldin in his mirrors and he slammed on the brakes, the 725 car was then pushed round the track at walking pace for the next 2 laps by Goldin, as this was going on - yellow roof Ronald Ferguson (631) shot round the outside to take the win ahead of Stuart Swales (620) The final and gn were rather low key races with not much happening - Goldin took an easy victory in the final, as did Paul Sinclair (590) in the GN.
