Here are some closer views of my launch pad. The rod mount is actually a PVC wall mount flag pole holder. I inserted a wood dowel, which is drilled for my maximum launch rod size, and put a set screw into the side to hold the rods. The flat piece of wood under the mount keeps it from tilting side to side. It is actually a pretty sturdy setup. The largest rocket I have launched from it so far, was my LOC IV, on a G80, and it handled it just fine.
