The Gambia is a country located on the west coast of Africa. The total land area is 11,300 sq km. It is bordered by Senegal on three of it's sides. The Gambia is approximatly wetland, upland plateaus, and lowlands. The River Gambia flows down the middle of the country and is the main waterway.
