UD's competition schedule for 2002-2003 season
Our first away competition was a good wake up call to UD to prepare for Nationals. There have been a couple of promises that I'm aware of admist team members to train harder and skate better at the next two competitions. We are on the up and up, no more down down!
"Is that a McJoke?!"
Camel toe, camel toe
Driving in a blizzard with frozen wipers
"This is Ghetto Beast #1"
"BANG BANG BANG!"
"Are they doing gymnastics?"
Freakin' McBitter cold weather
This is Room 144, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
"I'll have the BIG BEEF!"
"NOOOO more vodka!"
Kazy hanging out the window
"I'm not McMaking my way to the rink in this weather until it's like McPlowed!"
And this, the latest from our fearless club president, "WE NEED TO KICK SOME 'MCBUTT' so the other teams go 'down down'"
Amidst the stress and chaos of running a competition at our home rink, the Delaware skaters blew away the competition at our first meet of the 2002-03 season and walked away with first place. What a great start to the season!!!
Cornell sure was an interesting competition for the team. Though many of us did not skate our best, we still ended up with third place overall and therefore clenched a spot to represent the East Coast at Nationals in Denver, CO. GO TEAM! We also realized how well known the UD Collegiate team is in the coldest city on earth (precisely, Ithaca NY, home of Cornell U) as we walked through the town and heard people talk about how Delaware has such a great, highly respected team-- even in Ithaca NY!

"You must go up up, no down down!"
Oh yeah, UD skaters ROCK! Watch out Dartmouth, we're going all the way at BU!![]()
