Wednesday was a national holiday, so I went out to Hongdae to see what was going on.
Let's start off with a funny sign.
This is the main street in Sinchondong.
And the main train tracks.
Lesbians?
I still say this is a big apartment. Maybe I've been here too long.
We went to Jung's favourite soup restaurant, but they wouldn't serve us. They had this ridiculous rule that everyone has to get at least two dishes. So I took this picture so Disney will see their sign and sue them.
Finally found another place. I ate while Jung wrote.
I met these really cool twins and brought them home with me.
No, only one. :'(
The crazy one.
She found a bottle of something that smells like rum.
I kept my distance.
I forget what she was doing here, but it was BORING.
This double-CD cost me about $12.
Kyle, I will kiss you.
We went out to see if the garbage angel had arrived yet to take away all the garbage. There she is.
Some people throw away the strangest things.
She wouldn't freaking stay still for this picture.
And some people throw out things that are SUPPOSED to be thrown out.
We went to Hongdae Park to drink a bottle of cheap champagne.
This dog was named Shaun. My friend Seungpa has been teasing me about how Koreans use English names for their dogs.
This Korean Moment brought to you by KTF.
We got in contact with some friends and went to join them.
We went to the bar 16mm, where everyone seems to spend a lot of time.
Here's Seungpa. Someone name a dog after him please.
I received special permission from the others (actually a recommendation) to tease him about the size of his eyes. I took this picture and said "Hey, you blinked!" Maybe that's why he headbutted me.
