After my trip to take sunset photos on Children's Day, I wanted to come back to the area. There was a railroad museum that looked interesting at 3:00am, so we came back and paid to get in.
The exhibit was basically a bunch of train cars out in the open that you could walk in and explore.
They might have been more exciting, but a lot of the trains were models that were still in service. We had even ridden to the museum in a train similar to one here.
Thrilling.
Yeah, these are still in service.
Jung contemplates lying on train tracks and letting the trains go overhead.
Me!
It looks more interesting from this side.
:(
Cool! Look! A subway car!
This is exactly identical to trains you can ride on these days. However, these people clearly had more fun in these trains for some reason.
The only difference was that you could goof around in these cars and swing from the handgrips. But wait: there was a sign in Korean saying you can't do this.
This is the most interesting looking train we could go in.
Here is how you say "I want to go home" in Korean.
You know a museum's sad when this is the most exciting exhibit.
We paid 300won extra to see a "show." It turned out to be a big train set I wasn't allowed to photograph.
Here's the charismatic host, right before he announced "no photography."
And an awesome video game I hope they release on PC. You get to control the speed of a train. Unfortunately, there are no curves where you can speed it up and derail it.
Here's Queen Kong smashing one of the trains.
After the train show, we decided we'd had enough fun, so we left.
We went for lunch, but not here (dog restaurant).
Here. I caught this freaky kid kissing his mirror reflection.
I had tuna kimchi soup.
Then I caught this freaky girl making out with herself.
Here's the exciting part: after we finished eating, it was time to go to Seoul, via some REAL TRAINS!!
We're going down to the tracks! This is so exciting!
I was interested to read all of this bag later, so I took this picture. The part that's easiest to read is the bottom left corner.
Cool! Look at that!
I love to ride the subway!
Wow, a train station! I feel like I've been riding trans for years now that I've been to the museum!
Everyone loves being on the subway!
