The aim and objective of the Council is to serve as the official organisation of parents individually and cooperatively working with the Board, Administration and Faculty of the School in promoting the general welfare of the students and to make a distinct contribution to the life and spirit of the School community.

One of the important change in emphasis in the new Council is the formation of Class Parents Committee, which comprises class parents from each class who will assist in dealing with issues of their class. The full list of the sub-committees and their functions is found in here.
