Where can I get the download?
You can download Shazril Online from the homepage, if the download is not there it means that the game hasn't gone live yet so downloads are not available.
What is a .zip file and how do I open it?
A .zip file is a file that has been compressed (made smaller) so its faster to download. To Open it, right click on the .zip file and click on the word that says Extract. Extracting files will make them the original file size, after you extract the files you can now delete the .zip file
When I try to open the client, an error comes up what do i do?
If an error comes up it means you probably havn't registered all the .dll files or the .ocx files. Before playing you will also have to install the Support.exe and VBrun60sp5.exe, all the files nescecary to play the game comes with the client.zip and the support.zip
It says the server is down when I go to create an account
If the server is down it could mean multiple things;
The IP you're using to connect to the server is wrong, go to the website www.angelfire.com/sk3/shazril-online to check the IP address, then go to IP config and change the IP to the one that you saw on the site.
The server is down
You're trying to connect to the wrong Port, make sure the port is 7234 (it will say the port in the same window as the IP)
What is an NPC?
An NPC is short for Non Playing Character, NPC's can be merchants, Monsters, Characters who give you quests, so on and so forth
When I was playing the game, my character froze but i can still talk, what should I do?
This happens quite often for unknown reasons, sometimes you just have to wait a little while but its faster just to hit the "Exit This Realm" button and then re-log in
I tried talking to the old man but I didnt know what to say to get my answer to continue my quest
To get the rest of the info for quests you need to ask the npc a question containing the words in []. Please visit The first quest walkthrough for help with quests, most quests follow this same format.
How do I move, attack and run?
To move just use the Arrow keys on your keyboard,
to attack go to the NPC you wish to attack and hold down the ctrl key
to run hold down shift while you move with the arrow keys. Also type /help for a list of commands you can do
How do I gain Points and what are they used for?
When you level up you gain points, these points are used to increase your skills such as strength or Defense
Why can't I use healing spells?
To use healing spells you must use them on a character level 10 or higher and you have to be level 10 or higher to cast them
Where do I get money?
You can often find Gold in treasure chests, on the ground, or by killing certain NPC's
When I gain a level, my Exp goes into the minuses and I dont get my points, what should I do?
When this happens(which happens almost everytime you gain a level) you have to kill 1 more monster and then you will gain your level and your points
Why can't I kill other players?
To kill other players you have to be level 10 or higher and your victim has to be level 10 or higher
When I go to attack someone or something it says "You couldn't even phase it" what does this mean?
When it says that it means that your Strength(str) isn't above your target's Defense(Def). To deal Damage your Str has to be above the target's Def (ex.To deal damage to a monster that has 10 def you would need a total of 11 str)
