About Sam Swift's Memorial Golf Tournament

In 1992 Sam Swift was murdered in Arlington, Virginia. He attended Waynesburg College in Pennsylvania, and was in a fraternity named Alpha Phi Delta. On St. Patrick's Day of 2000, several of his brothers in the fraternity wanted to honor him. They decided to have an annual picnic and golf tournament in his memory to raise money for a scholarship fund. The picnic is going to be held on July 19, and the golf tournament will be held on July 20. It is usually held during the third week of July. Every dollar and penny that we get goes toward the fund. This is a non-profit organization. In 2 years we have raised almost $12,000 toward the scholarship fund. We hope that you will consider donating.
