22. Rely On Your Crew (was Over the Moon)

(The stage on the docks.  Pirates have come to get a glimpse of the infamous thief turned protester - Nami. She enters, bedecked in the Chinese acrobat outfit from the splash panel.  There are loud hoots and cheers as she slinks onto center stage.)

Nami:
Last night I had a dream.
I found myself in a place called Arlong Park. It was hot. My plan wasn't working and I was… running out of time.
Out of the abyss walked a guy; Luffy.
I told him to go away. He said, "I don't know what's going on in Arlong Park - but friends stick together."
He said, "Only thing to do is rely on your crew."
"I heard what they did you…killed your mom, dug up your trees, stole your money…and been holding your town hostage." 
"But there is a way out…"

Nami:
Ohhhhhh……"Only thing to do is rely on your crew."
I gotta get out of here. They tie me to a desk all day, and pack me in with paper and pens and maps, and push me around, threatening my town - I've gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta find a way!
To rely on my crew.  Only thing to do is rely on my crew.

Nami:
Then a little sharkman entered.  His name (we have learned) was Arlong and although he once had principles…wait, he never had principles. And he was living a wealthy life at the expense of the humans around him.
Ah one two three.
"That's bull," he said. "Ever since I killed that woman, Nami's been all jumpy. I give her everything that she could ever want. Maybe it's a female thing. Because who would want to leave Arlong Park, anyway? Fishmen ain't so bad. Those stupid Marines for instance. They tried to take us out, firing cannons at my front door, and I said, "Not in my backyard, Marines!  Go to hell!"
"The only way out is up," Luffy whispered to me. "A leap of faith. You ready?" he asked.
"Yes."
And I watched as my fellow crew members kicked and sliced and shot and punched until Arlong Park came crashing… to the ground.
"Climb on board," Luffy said.  And, as a bright sun hung over the ocean, we set sail, leaving the past behind and heading straight towards the Grandline!
I awoke singing…

Only thing to do
Only thing to do is trust
Only thing to do is rely on your crew

(There is a loud mooing in the background. Momu, the giant cow sea monster, has been attracted by Nami's singing.)

Momu:
Moooooo. Mooooooooo. Moooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

(Nami is struck with an idea.)

Nami:
Moo with him!

(The assembled pirates look at each other.)

Nami:
Sir! Moo with him!

Momu:
Mooooooooooooooo!!!!

Nami:
Mooooooooooo!!!!!!

Pirates:
Moooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

(The pirates do as Nami says. And while they're busy moo-ing, she's picking them clean.)

Nami:
Thank you.

Sanji:
Nami-san!  You're so cool!

Vivi (face buried in her hands):
I thought we were supposed to be keeping a low profile.
