Highrola, or Woody as he prefers to be known, started life off as a posh show dog, won lots of ribbons, best puppy in show, many best of breeds. But life in the show business world didn't sit well for a dog who liked the simpler things in life, like chasing balls, sniffing out rabbit warrens and of course his most favourite thing in the world rolling in cow crap, what a wonderful aroma, the aftershave of the dog world. So after digging him out from under the house for the many hours of preparation for his stage performances, like the dreaded bathing, "why do we have to use soap", "surely a quick swim in the dam will do", and brushing , "hey I'm a rough coat", "surely a la natural is the way to go", "not the toenail clips"!, "how am I suppose to dig those rabbits out now"??? It was the end of his show dog career!!! and with great relief from our Woodfellow.

Mineheadheiress or known to us as Bella. Bella never embarked on the path to showdog greatness ,an accident when she was young left her with a kink in her right leg and she still walks with a limp. She is a lady of luxury however and likes the high life of lying on the couch watching TV with the family, sunning herself on the verandah, indulging in any form of cuisine, and enjoys constant human companionship, no doubt she would have enjoyed the attentions of a show career. She is a wonderful mother, although at times a wee bit jealous that her babies may be getting more attention than she and will plonk herself next to you pretending of course, her concerns for her youngsters, but really not wanting to miss out on any form of affection herself.
