Demenxia is a band from Florida that are influenced by such bands as Death, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, Meshuggah, Dying Fetus, Slayer and Slipknot. They are not an amateur band just passing by with their music. Demenxia work hard and they put out a great sound. Don't pass them by thinking that they are just another death metal band from Florida, because they are more than that.
The song, Next Victim starts off really heavy with some nice gutteral grunts and an awesome sound. The guitar effects are quite different in this track. They don't just turn on the death metal pedal, they use other effects as well. This isn't just pounding, typical death metal. The song definetely has a death metal sound but there is some nice atmosphere and a hardcore sound to it that makes it different. The musicians do a great job with their playing. This song sounds great cranked up with the music blasting! This is a great song and I highly recommend that you check this band out. And if you live in Florida, go check them out or try to get them to come to your town.
