The Magic2 Mod chip allows you to play back any PlayStation or Ps2 game on your PS2 console. It boots any import or backup (CD-R, DVD-R) without swaping and without the help of an Action Replay 2 or Gameshark 2.   Operation Procedures

  - There is a restriction on the Magic 2 v7 applicable to PAL PS2s whereby it can only play PS1 games for the same region as the PS2. So a PAL v7 can only play PAL PS1 games

  With the disk assumed in the tray and the tray closed:

  - For PS2 games, power up normally from STANDBY with RESET button. A single tap is required.

  - For PS1 games & DVD Movies, power up from STANDBY with RESET button held until the blue EJECT light comes on; then release RESET and the disk will boot.

  - Please turn off the PS2 (to standby) before changing Mode (PS1/PS2/DVD)

  - For soldering the power and ground wires, please use a thicker cable (22awg=21swg)

  - For soldering to the other points, please use 32awg = 34swg cable

  These mods are intended to be installed by experienced technicians only. Previous experience in installing PSX mod chips counts for nothing. We will not  will not be help responsible if you damage your console as a result of poor fitting.
