Johnny 9 and the Racers!
Well now, let me trace back all the way to the Summer of 2001... Dave told me he wanted to start a ska band, so i said ok! He wanted to be guitar, and he told me i should play bass... to be honest, I had no idea what a bass was! Well, on June 12 (my birthday) my parents bought me a bass guitar, and yes, i still have it and use it for all of our shows... *sigh* Anyways, we then recruited Mike Murray on tenor sax and Chris Chambers on trumpet... those didn't last very long... but before they left, we got Billy Holland as our drummer, and he has yet to cease to amaze me... that kid's awesome! Well, Chris left the band (at that time we were This Side Up) because he said he was moving, but he ended up moving 2 years later... Mike left because we kinda kicked him out, plus he broke Billy's window, hehe. And now, the most infamous band member... the former lead singer, Adam Mitchell. He was there with Chris and Mike too, but he was HORRIBLE. We just stopped inviting him to practices and he got the idea and quit. *phew* Well then it was just me, Dave, and Billy, without horns. Throughout the next few weeks after Mike and Chris quit, Dave slowly recruited 2 new members, Jeff Turner (trumpet) and Brian Sherman (trombone). They're still with us and they're amazing! Sometime after that, we got Sam "Teen Idol" Kaplowitz on alto sax, but he now plays tenor sax. He's such a funny kid and he's great at sax too. Well, that's the band, the six of us, Me, Dave, Billy, Jeff, Sherman, and Sam.

I doubt you read any of that, but oh well, check out our bios!
