I've done quite abit of work over the past year and
half.
Its amazing the amount of information out there
and the great people I met who helped were a blessing.
Working on 4 lines,, each of my grandparents was
at times overwelming,, but no matter how much was
being tossed my way,, I couldn't stop until I had
all they
were willing to give me at the time.
Overall I would have to say my maternal side has caught
my attention most,, but I've barely started working
on my
paternal side. Its amazing,, my Mennonite family didn't
live far from the Roman Catholic side but it sure
seems like
different worlds when your researching it all.
I separated the lines and posted different trees for
each,,
I found it hard to separate the people whom were born
in the 1900's
that I had no birthdates on from the ones born before
the 1900's.
I tried my best and I think I've actually done it,,
but if somewhere along the way I seem to be missing
someone,,
please email me and let me know.
My familytree files contains over 14,500 names in
all so far,,
I branch out alot but alot I have are also from the
1900's
and therefore absent from my posting.
So here are my lines,, first up are my maternal side,,
Mennonites.
An amazing family and one I'm extremely proud of.
Here is my paternal,, I've only recently started looking
for them.
If something is not right,, let me know,, I've found
it hard to confirm the info.
But the good news is that there is a family book out
there that my Aunt has
a copy of and hopefully I'll get my anxious hands
on it for awhile.
I've yet to learn much about their lives,, but I must
admit my Grandparents,
Aunts and Uncles are pretty amazing so it should be
interesting.
