MY TRUCK

1999 GMC SONOMA

This is my truck. Its a 1999 GMC Sonoma, regular cab, longbox. It has a Vortec 2.2L engine with a 5 speed manual transmision and a 3.73:1 rear differential gear ratio.

These pictures are from when I first bought the truck. Everything is still stock. The stock color of it is Metalic Cherry Red. And because it is a long bed, it came stock with the Z85 suspension kit.

This was taken after I had purchased a canopy for my truck. Notice that I also put on GTS black headlight covers, that were soon taken off because of dark winter conditions

These next five pictures are taken after I got my truck lowered. It was dropped 3 inches in the front with Beltech's 2 inch drop spindles, and 1 inch drop coils. The rear was dropped 4 inches using Beltech leaf springs and drop blocks. All the stock shocks were also replaced with Beltech Nitro Drop shocks. I also added a set of clear taillights.

These next two pictures are of my truck after I got my new wheels. They are 17x8 American Eagle's wrapped with BFGoodrich HR4 tires. The front tires are a P235/45R17 and the rear tires are P275/40R17.

The next two are of my truck with a new Stull billet grill installed.

This picture is of my engine after I installed a Intiminator air intake system. I can really notice the extra horse-power in 2nd gear and up @ 3000-4000 RPM.

Emblems shaved off the tailgate.

This picture was taken after I got my front end re-painted. Notice I painted the bottom half of my bumper and the grill shell(they used to be grey).

Taken after I put my wheels back on for the summer. New mirrors too.

This is a picture of my dash. I painted all my trim peices blue.

Picture of my door panel after being painted.

This picture shows both my painted interior and my new Street Scene mirrors.

Picture of my truck prior to shaving the back end.

Picture of backend before shaving. Notice my new Euro tail lights.

Out with the old, In with the new.

Soon to be welded into place is GM's factory bolt-on roll pan.

Roll pan welded into place.

Mine and Franks back ends. Notice Franks Caddy taillights.

All ready to paint.

'Riding low on the back of a tow truck'. After getting my backend finished I was on the way home and my fuel pump stopped working. Couldn't pass up this picture.

My first truck show entered. I went with other Mothergoose Custom trucks. It was held at Poppy High School in Langley.

My girlfriend Taryn sitting in the back waiting for the show to end.

Truck after getting painted. Got my backend painted, my mirrors, and my wipercowl.

Sorry for the dark pictures. More to come.

Backend all shaved and painted.

The next two pictures are of my stereo. A Panasonic DFX700U head unit runs the show. The speakers in my truck include stock speakers in the dash, a pair of 6 inch JBL's in my doors, and a 12 inch Phoenix Gold XS sub. My stereo has Phoenix Gold's 4150 amp(recently blown, replaced with a new Audiobahn amp) powering the sub and the 6's, while the deck powers the dash speakers. A few neon lights were also put into my interior to add some light to things.

Here is a picture of my new Audiobahn amp.

Got my new bike. Its a 2002 Honda CBR 600 F4i. Here are some pics of it with my truck.
