This survey has been up for three years, so I decided to update the answers as they stand today, in 2007. Enjoy.
ANGER
1. Who did you last get angry with? Somebody in one of my classes. I'm over it, though.
2. What is your weapon of choice? Biting sarcasm. And a sword, if I knew how to use one. (Ha! This is the old answer, but it's great so I'm leaving it.)
3. Would you hit a member of the opposite sex? Well, I try to resolve things through nonviolent means. Not so much because I'm a pacifist but because I know I'd get the crap beaten out of me.
4. How about of the same sex? Same as above.
5. Who was the last person who got really angry at you? I don't know. Really, I don't.
6. Do you keep grudges, or can you let them go easily? Depends on what I'm having a grudge about. Some things I let go really easily. Some things I'm mad about for years.
SLOTH
1. What is one thing you're supposed to do daily that you haven't done in a long time? Updated this website, I guess.
2. What is the latest you've ever woken up? On a day in which I went to bed at a reasonable time the night before... 2:30.
3. Name a person you've been meaning to contact, but haven't: Beth.
4. What is the last lame excuse you made? I try not to make lame excuses because I always get caught and it always sucks.
5. Have you ever watched an infomercial all the way through (one of the long ones...)? My 2004 answer said yes. I don't remember doing this, but I will assume I wasn't lying and say yes again.
6. When was the last time you got a good workout in? *shrug*
7. How many times did you hit the snooze button on your alarm clock today? None, because it's Saturday during the summer and I can sleep as late as I want.
GLUTTONY
1. What is the greatest amount of alcohol you've had in one sitting/outing/event? I took like five shots of straight bourbon once. I think that's it.
2. Have you ever used a commercial diet program? I gave Atkins a try.
3. Do you have an issue with your weight? Doesn't almost everyone?
4. Do you prefer sweets, salty foods, or spicy foods? Salty foods, although candy is pretty tasty.
LUST
1. How many people have you seen naked (not counting movies/family)? Completely naked? One.
2. How many people have seen YOU naked (not counting physicians/family)? One.
3. Have you ever caught yourself staring at the chest/crotch of a member of your gender of choice person during a normal conversation? My previous answer said yes, but I really don't tend to stare at crotches unless I'm doing it on purpose (to make Daniel uncomfortable, for example) so I'm gonna contradict myself.
4. Have you "done it"? I am, after all, married.
5. Have you ever been propositioned by a prostitute? Not that I know of. There were some odd questions in New Orleans, but I don't think they were serious. I was underage and in the company of adults.
6. Have you ever had to get tested for an STD or pregnancy? Technically, yes. To get a marriage license in Mississippi, you have to get tested for syphilis, so I did have to do that. But never for an STD because I was actually concerned.
GREED
1. How many credit cards do you own? A few.
2. What's your guilty pleasure store? My previous answer was Hobby Lobby, and I just asked Daniel what the answer would be now, and he said, "Hobby Lobby". So I guess that's it.
3. If you had $1 million, what would you do with it? Buy a nice house and then travel. A lot.
4. Would you rather be rich, or famous? Rich, because you don't have the media taking pics of you in the shower if you're rich.
5. Would you accept a boring job if it meant you would make megabucks? Probably. I'm pretty mercenary.
PRIDE
1. What one thing have you done that you're most proud of? I don't know. I really don't. I mean, I do things I'm proud of from time to time, but nothing really shines above all the rest.
2. What one thing have you done that your parents are most proud of? I got a full tuition college scholarship and kept it the full four years.
3. What thing would you like to accomplish in your life? I'd like to be really well-traveled.
4. Do you get annoyed by coming in second place? Depends on the contest. Usually yes.
5. Have you ever entered a contest of skill, knowing you were of much higher skill than all the other competitors? Yes. It's fun.
6. What did you do today that you're proud of? I can't tell you that. *wink*
ENVY
1. What item (or person) of your friends would you most want to have for your own? My friends are as poor as I am, so I don't really want any of their stuff. They can keep it.
2. Who would you want to go on "Trading Spaces" with? I guess my aunt. But being as I live in an apartment, there wouldn't be that much she could do here.
3. If you could be anyone else in the world, who would you be? Nobody. I'm happy. I mean, I'd like to have money and a nice body like some celebrities, but I wouldn't want to actually BE them.
4. Have you ever been cheated on? Sure.
5. Have you ever wished you had a physical feature different from your own? Yes.
6. What inborn trait do you see in others that you wish you had for yourself? Genetic skinniness.
FAITH
1. What religion do you follow? *shifts uncomfortably*
2. What religion were you raised as? Christian
3. Do you believe that forgiveness is a religious property, or a human property? Kinda both.
4. Do you believe in magic? Yes, a little.
5. Have you ever said the words to a prayer and not meant it? Yes.
6. Do you believe that anyone could be perfect? Not really. For one thing, perfection is a very subjective concept.
HOPE
1. Did you get everything you wanted over the last holiday season? No, but I'm cool with what I did get.
2. Regarding your future, what is the best thing you could hope for? Being comfortable financially.
3. Do you let yourself get your hopes up for something even if you know that there is a large chance of failure? Yeah. I need to break myself of that habit, though.
5. Have you ever bought a lottery ticket? Lots of times.
6. Do you gamble? Won six hundred dollars on the quarter slots at the casino once.
FORTITUDE
1. What are you most afraid of? Looking stupid in front of people.
2. What did you do today that was really brave? Today? Nothing today. That's kinda sad, but oh well.
3. Who is your favorite super hero, and why? Buttercup, the Powerpuff Girl! She's just cool!
4. Would you put your life in danger to rescue someone? Depends on who it was, honestly.
5. If you were to face the Wizard, would you want more courage, more brains, or more heart? Courage.
6. Have you ever gotten stage fright? Yes, I guess so. Mainly during band, though, so it's more like football field fright or rehearsal room fright.
JUSTICE
1. Have you ever been summoned for jury duty? Yes, and I was really excited to do it, but it was from my previous home state and I couldn't go because it's like a ten hour drive and I don't even live there anymore. They were very nice about letting me off, though, so that was good.
2. If they reinstituted the draft (for both genders)? I hope they don't. Trust me, you do not want me fighting anybody for anything. I'm a wuss.
3. Do you support capital punishment (the death penalty)? Not indiscriminately or anything, but in certain cases, yes.
4. Do you believe that Dubya is rightfully President of the USA? The best thing about the fact that it's 2007 is that this question and the "Do you like the President?" questions will disappear from surveys in less than two years.
5. What was your favorite media circus trial? I guess the custody battle for Anna Nicole's baby.
6. Have you ever written a letter to a politician? No, but I imagine I will one day.
TEMPERANCE
1. What do you have the hardest time moderating yourself on? Probably snack food.
2. Do you collect anything? Yes. Statues of owls and pegasi.
3. Are you addicted to anything? Not really.
4. Have you ever put anything on layaway or used an installment plan? No, but my parents have for things for me.
5. What's your preferred method of paying for things? Debit card.
6. Tell us one thing you wish you hadn't let yourself do: Date Tater the second time. Also the third time.
7. Do you feel that you obsess over things? Some things. Not all things.
