OK. The Saskatchewan Provincial Election gave us an NDP/Liberal Coalition that many claim was a betrayal of honest voters wishes. In reality had the Liberal faithful voted with their brain and not their stomachs the Saskatchewan Party would have garnered enough seats to match their majority popular vote. The Saskatchewan Provincial Election gave us Roy Romanow as Premier and now he has bailed out of his responsibility under the guise of renewing the NDP Party. The NDP Party has allowed the possibility of 13 year old children to be allowed to vote in Lorne Calvert not just as NDP Party Leader but as Premier of Saskatchewan. How backward is our political system? We now have a Premier of a Province that has not been elected to the legislature and a party in power that has a minority of seats as well as a minority of the popular vote. The credit for this fiasco must go to TEAM ROMANOW! Unbelievable!   Lets review. Over a  year ago Lorne Calvert resigned as a duly elected MLA in the Saskatchewan Legislature. He went from there to the back office of Roy Romanow as a special advisor. But who was advising whom? Lorne Calvert now appears to have spent the last year being groomed for the eventuality of becoming Premier at the expense of the taxpayer! It will be the most interesting time when and if a cabinet shakeup occurs. Will some heads roll or will TEAM ROMANOW just keep a full head of steam up and continue to race down the same old track toward healthcare oblivion? Will the urban voters of Regina Elphinstone just follow tradition with blind resolve or will they take this bye election opportunity to send both the liberals and the NDP a message. A message that might read, " we don't like the crappy job your doing with healthcare, crime, roads, taxes, education or just about everything else including pussyfooting around the debt and blaming Ottawa for everything!". Should you the reader happen to know anyone residing in the Regina Elphinstone riding you may want to suggest that they PAY ATTENTION and SEND A MESSAGE to TEAM ROMANOW. That's my plan. So if you happen to live in Regina Elphinstone there is no good reason to not send a message of discontent to the NDP and the Liberals by voting for the Saskatchewan Party. If the message is sent the political landscape of Saskatchewan will be largely unaffected but the political climate on the other hand may change dramatically, particularly in the NDP back offices where the smell of stupidity is the strongest.   Greaner
