What does the Bible say about becoming a Christian?

1.)God loves you.

"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us" (1 John 4:10).

2.)Sin separates us from God. [Sin is not doing what God wants you to do. We sin when we disobey God.]

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

3.)God sent Jesus so you would not have to die for your sin. Jesus died on the cross, He was buried, and He rose from the dead.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

What are the ropes to becoming a Christian?

-dmit--Confess to God you are a sinner. Repent, turning from your sin. Romans 3:23; 6:23; Acts 3:19

-elieve--Place your faith in Jesus as God's Son and accept Jesus' gift of forgivenness from sin. Romans 5:8; Acts 4:12; John 3:16; 14:6

-ommit--Give your life to Jesus. Ask Him to be your Savior and Lord. Romans 10:9-10; Luke 9:23
Is it time for you to become a Christian?

God's Holy Spirit will help you know if you're ready to become a Christian. If it's not time, exit this part of the page until later. If it is time for you to become a Christian, pray the prayer below. You don't have to pray word for word, but pray something similier.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and have displeased You in many ways. I believe You died for my sin and only through faith in Your death and resurrection can I be for given. I want to turn from my sin and ask You to come into my life as my Savior and Lord. From this day on, I will follow You by living a life the pleases You. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen.

If you prayed the prayer above and did feel forced and you really ment it in your heart, than your a Christian. After you have asked Jesus Christ into your life, tell a Christian friend and follow Christ in believer's baptism and church membership. There you'll find others who will love and support you.

If you have trusted Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, you can be sure that...

1.)Your sins are forgiven.

2.)You are a Christian.

3.)You are a child of God.

4.)God will always be with you.

5.)You will go to heaven when you die.

What can you do now?

1.)Tell others (especially your parents) that you are a Christian and that Jesus is your Savior and Lord.

2.)Attend church regularly.

3.)Be baptized to show others that you have become a Christian.

4.)Read the Bible and pray to God each day.

Will you ever sin again?

Yes. Everyone sins.

Will you ever have to become a Christian again?

No. when you ask Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, it lasts forever. Remember this promise from God:

"I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" (Hebrews 13:5).

When you do sin, ask God to forgive you and to help you please Him. Ask Him! He will!

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
