The Dictionary of Poke Terms
Pokemon- Pokemon is short for Pocket Monsters. It is the name given to the species of animals
which include Pikachu, Eevee, Meowth, etc.
Pokeball- a pokeball is the device used to capture pokemon.
Pokemon Trainer- A Pokemon Trainer is someone who captures Pokemon and uses them for battles
The Pokemon Leauge- The Pokemon Leauge is like the pokemon equivelent of Football's Super Bowl.
A trainer can only compete in the Pokemon laeuge if he/she defeats the 8 gym leaders and collects their badges.
The Orange Leauge- The Orange Leauge is the Orange Island's equivelent to the Pokemon Leauge.
In order to qualify, a trainer must challenge the Orange Crew and obtain all eight of their badges(which just
happen to all be shells!).
Badges- Badges are colorful pin-like items that prove you've defeated their respective gym leader.
