My feeling I can no longer hide,
For I have to tell you just how I feel inside,
No one will quite understand just how I feel,
But If I tell you,
You'll see I've been being unreal.
I need someone to talk to,
Someone who will listen and help to see me through,
When I told you I was fine, I lied,
Because the feeling I had then I had to hide.
No one understands the pain I've been through,
For no one has understood,
Just you and only you,
The one who has helped me to see,
The real true me.
The real me was someone I could not find,
Someone who was locked up in my mind,
I thank that special someone who has always been there,
To help me anytime.
This person is a freind I will have for life,
For even our disagreements stab me just like a knife,
This is a friend that I will never forget,
I still remember the first day we met.
I hope this person will stay around forever,
And forget me never and go away never,
I don't know just how I'd feel if you left me,
Because if you do who will help see me through.
But now I know just how I'd feel because you have gone,
I'm all alone now, But I keep hanging on,
Because you have left me all alone,
I'll have to get through the bad times on my own.
I always knew and always believed,
That one day you would have to leave,
I just never thought you go so soon,
Your so far away it's like you've flown to the moon.
I just want you to know that even though you went away,
That I think about you night and day,
I still remember the time s we shared together,
And I will remember them forever.
There's no easy way to say good-bye,
Or mend a broken heart,
Especially when you don't know how or where to start,
Now and forever I will still be with you,
No matter how far away you go,
My being with you is true.
Now that my poem is done,
I hope you've figured out,
Just who this person is I've been talking about,
I'm taking about the kind of friend that's always there,
To help you through the good times and the bad
Anytime, anywhere.
