The six piece band called Cradle of Filth lives in England. Dani formed the band in the summer of 1991. They released there debut album, The Principle of Evil Made Flesh. Cradle of Filth's next release was a 36 minute EP which was due to the war with there label. The album is called Vempire or Dark Faerytales in Phallustein. The material was originally intended for their second full-length album. The band signed up with Music for Nations, which licenses the band's to Music to Mayham for release in the United States.

In 1996, Cradle of Filth recorded Dusk and Her Embrace. After the album Dusk and Her Embrace was released Cradle of Filth traveled throughout Europe, and came to America for the first time for only one appearance at the 1997 Milwaukee Metal Fest.

Cradle of Filth's lastest album Cruelty and the Beast which was recorded in Birmingham, England and has gotten great reviews. The album is about the twisted crimes of 16th century Countess Elisabeth Bathory who lived as a noble in Hungary. Bathory killed six hundred young virgin women to keep the Bathory fountain of youth filled with virgin blood. She became known as the Princess Dracula. She was locked into her own home and lived three more years and eventually died.

The eight years that Cradle of Filth have been around the line-ups keep changing. Cradle of Filth's line-up includes: Dani Filth (vocals), Stuart Anstis (guitar), Gian Pyres (guitar), Robin Eaglestone (bass), Lector(keyboards) and Nicholas Barker (drums). So, far the line-up is stronger than ever. But who knows what will happen!!!

Cradle of Filth is going to be coming up with a home video with live performances and backstage footage and more!!! They also have a new album coming out on Halloween'99!!!
