Skip Ells began his Martial Arts training
while in the U.S. Navy. Stationed in Keflavic Iceland in the late 70's
Skip began training in Judo/Jujitsu with other Naval and Civilian personnel.
After being transferred to Norfolk, VA., Skip began some informal training in Tae
Kwon Do and Kung-fu. Soon after being discharged from the Navy, Skip began formal training in the art
of Kempo/Kenpo Karate and has been studying the art ever since. Along
with Kempo/Kenpo Karate, Skip also incorporates his other Martial Arts knowledge
into the system for a well balanced and "STREET SMART FIGHTING SYSTEM." In October of 2000 he also received a black belt for JUDO, and another black belt for JUI JITSU. In 2003 Professor Skip Ells recieved his 8th Degree Black Belt from NEKICK "North East Instructor of Chinese Kempo/Kenpo.
