Site intro
This site was created sometime last year, when the LOTR movie craze was just beginning. It was the holidays and I spent a lot of my time lurking at the Tolkien movie MBs. I found some gems among the posts and suddenly I had this crazy idea of putting all of them in a website so I could reread them easily (instead of having to browse through the messageboard archives)...and so The Mouth of Sauron was born.
In the beginning, I updated this site frequently, sometimes every day but lately, I found that I have less and less time to spend on the Internet, hence the very infrequent updates.

I consider the Mouth of Sauron to be a kind of posters' Hall of Fame. A trip down Memory Lane. A few years from now, after the movies are made, I'd like to look back and laugh at our craziness...Balrog wings, pointy ears, Xenarwen, all our rants and raves. This is fandom. To think before all this, I used to think Star Wars fans and Trekkies were crazy....I never thought I'd be spending a good part of my free time browsing through messageboard posts. And yes, I have no life...*sob*...

It's been fun though...I hope you had as much fun browsing through these old posts as I did!

I always try to keep this site updated, so keep coming back.

BTW sharkens is not my real name. It's a modification of Sharkey (Saruman!). I just wanted a username which is more than 8 characters :)

If you find anything in this site offensive to you, that's none of my concern, I put up what I think is funny or amusing. If you don't like it, don't read it. Simple as that.
