Zeke
Never a band to consider wimpy options like "rest" or "relaxation," as suggested by this story by Richy Boyer, Zeke continue to assault fans of lightning-fast punk rock with a relentless touring schedule, only slowing their motor long enough (or short enough, more appropriately) to jump into the studio and crank out a new set of electrifying tunes. Presently, the band's putting the final touches on its fourth onslaught, Dirty Sanchez, which will see the light on Epitaph in the opening months of the new millennium. Early indications are that Dirty Sanchez will be the band's dirtiest and most catchy set to date. Working song titles include "Horror at Red Hook" and "Let's Get Drugs," and there's even a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Brianna" that's sure to turn some heads. No worries, though--after all, this is Zeke we're talking about, so don't expect any Manilow. Get that neck brace back out and resign yourself for the punishment you know you deserve.
