Even More Punk

Its been awhile since I updated my page, but here's Millencolin, Agnostic Front, and The Sex Pistols for ya.

Millencolin

Millencolin is a great foreign band. Yes, they're from Sweden. Since '95, Millencolin has put out 3 full-length albums on Epitaph, including their newest album, "For Monkeys" (1997). It seems as if all the songs these guys put out have something that makes you feel better or different (in a good way, that is) that you just can't put your finger on. (Millencolin L-R: Mathias, Nikola, Erik, Larzon)

Agnostic Front

Okay, these guys are f***ing hardcore punk, and have been since the early 80's. Living in NY, the have lots of east coast pride. Their most recent release, "Somethings Gotta Give," has great tracks including "Gotta go" and "It's My Life." Agnostic Front could easily be the grandfathers of hardcore/east coast punk.

The Sex Pistols

Awwww, where do I start with these guys? The Sex Pistols were considered to be one of, if not the first, punk bands ever. Started in U.K. around the mid 70's, the Pistols took everyone by storm, causing a whole new style of music, fashion, and look upon the world. With their best album (only my opinion), "Never Mind the Bullocks, Here's...The Sex Pistols," the SP sparked a whole new "generation" with the phrase "Anarchy in the U.K." Although there is a conflict between who started punk...the U.S. or the U.K., I say the U.K. Please read Matthew Lillards quote from "SLC Punk!" I posted, thanks. (Sorry, can't name the Sex Pistols in order, but they are: Johnny Rotton-vocals, Steve Jones [Sid Vicious]-guitar, Paul Cook-drums, Glen Matlock-bass)
