My

Vida

Blue

I've known for some years now and over the years Ernie has rasied some fine rollers. From compition rolls to backyard rollers. He no longer flys compition be he still has roll.

Ernie tells me he got Vida Blue (IPB-72-326) in 1978  from some one in West Minester . He flew him and liked what he saw. Not deep (15ft) but fast. Vida Blue was already over 5 years old but from this one bird Ernie has made his family. "I don't breed to close but every brid in this cage has Vida Blue behind it some were. It took years of work to set the roll I have now and I'm still working on more roll. My birds are a little big but thats ok with me they roll strong".
As we sat in Ernies backyard and watched the birds I can say Ernie has roll. Looking around I said to myself every one should see this cage. It's not big or fancy but take a look inside.

Breeding Loft

Nesting Condos

Ernie has two big salt rocks on the  floor. He tells me he poors beer over the salt rocks and the birds love it. As you can see open loft is the way Ernie breeds so all the birds can get a little bit.
