Heroes Reborn is the re-opening of a Marvel Super Heroes role playing game that had begun around 1992. In 1995, the game came to an unexpected end and has not been played ever since... until now. Almost five years later, some old enemies have resurfaced but the heroes who fought them so many years ago have gone into an early retirement. With new, inexperienced heroes stepping up to the plate, they soon find that they might have bit off more than they could chew. In need of someone who has experience in dealing with these criminals, they seek out the retired heroes for guidance. Ultimately, the heroes are forced out of retirement to lace up the boots, buckle the belts, and don the costumes one more time in order to put an end to their arch-enemies terror.
THE VETERANS
The man known as Europa is
possibly the most powerful of the original heroes. The offspring from a human woman
and an alien man from one of the ice cold moons of Jupiter, Europa found
himself in New York city helping a band of super-powered beings fight crime.
The mutant, Skyhawk, was one of the more arrogant and cocky of the heroes. When a plane crashed in the Rocky mountains in British Columbia, Canada, Skyhawk and his grandparents were there to assist the survivors, which included other members of the group.
The mysterious martial artist, Underworld Jim, had high regard for group unity. One of the more resourceful members of the group, this was probably directly related to the fact that he was one of the weaker members of the group, although his powers were some of, if not the most potent of the groups.
phosphor-X (later known as phosphorus) was the founding father of the super hero team. being a mutant was not his only problem to deal with but he had become possessed by an evil god who used his body for a tool of destruction.
Another Canadian of the group, Big Blue Al, or BBA was another founding father of the group. He had some difficulties with his powers. They often didn't work when he wanted them to.
THE ROOKIES
Shepherd is a freedom fighter. A mutant who fights against those who would oppress the mutant race. He is a gaurdian angel of sorts to any mutant that needs one.
The mutant known as Avatar is a sympathetic supporter of Sheppard's cause. His only mutant power is telepathy but more interesting is the higher power that possess him and gives this mutant greater gifts.
The man known as Johnny Go is a mammoth of a mutant, standing at 14 feet tall. He is all brawn and no brains but don't telll him that to his face, cause he might feed you a knuckle sandwitch.
