The history of beer starts in the begining of human civilization, roughly in the time of the growth of first script.

Experts knows, that begining culture of alcohol-drinkig is linking with switching from matriarchary constitute to patriarchary. Alcohol belongs mostly to man and is showing his own personality just as gun, tobacco and the smell of horse sweat.

The konzumation of beer is making whole sociaties, at first those militaristic, later different beer brotherhoods and guilds. One of the most interesting is for example KGB - The Knights of Glory and Beer.

The oldest evidence of the existention of beer comes from the times more then 5 thousand years ago. In all probability the discoverers of beer were Summers who lived in Mesopotamia in the 4.-3. millenium B.C. Because they didn´t know english they called beer "kas". They used malt, but they didn´t know a thing about hop, so the bitter taste they added with bread fried in ash. Beer together with date wein were the oldest alcoholic drinks. About beer we may find some mentions in the historical epic story about Gilgames. Beer was the part of feast tables of ancient gods. The spirit was discovered by Arabians and samohomka much later by Russians.

The public taprooms were also mentioned in the Chamurabi´s code in the 2^nd millenium B.C. The antic era wasn´t good for the development of beer. People drank most frequently wine and mead. The only exception for this were germans witch boied beer and to the mead they added hop. Sympatic beer lovers were Vikings, Kelts or the old Finishes and English.Vikings are the developers of the so called ”beer freezing”. May they mistakely found out that water will freeze but alcohol won´t that will make the higher concentration of alcohol. Drunk they didn´t hit the home so they were probably the first Europians on the american continent.

The great development of beer was in the early Middle ages. The first written message about breweries comes from the Pragues vysegrads capitol in the year of 1088. The first begginings of cultivating of hop is linking with the old monastery gardens. Hop was used for making beer in the monasteries from the 11. century. The monks were more interested in praying to beer then in prayings to God.

Another great development of beer was in the era of founding new cities in the 13. century, when one of the city prerogative was a ability to make beer. From the year 1295 is beer making also in Pilzen. The Middle age beer was not much similar to the one we know now. It concludes the yeasts and other mechanic pieces witch made beer sometimes a kind of meal. Some brewers are still using this tradition. The city code to make beer became the politic problem in the 16. century. Vladislav Jagelon solved it by giving the law of beer making to the nobility. This era was typical for founding new breweries. Some of them are still active.

The new history meets America in the able hands of the indians with corn but without beer, but already in 1634 in Boston Americans opened their first taproom with corn beer and corn whisky. English puritans slowed the consumation of alcohol, on the american continent what partialy endures with the time of prohibition till today.

The Middle Europe is from the years of the newage the home of beer. Particulary Germany and Czech Republic are homes of many new kinds of beer. And also other countries aren´t the less important like Netherland, England, Denmark and also Slovakia, e.g. drinking gin with beer that can only a few nations of the world do. The newage helps to make beer better with the new discoveries: J. Watt, Carl von Linde, (steam engine and cooling) Lois Paster (pasterization) etc. In the 19. century beer became a special part of industry.

In the year of 1946 in Czecho-Slovakia there were 280 breweries making many kinds of beer. Comunism made a total regulation in 1948 and made a "big boom" of beer also with building new breweries so in the year 1989 there were in Czecho-Slovakia 71 breweries associated in 12 state enterprises with some horrible beers.

This trend was changed after the 1989 when the doors of free enterprise was opened, once again there are the old traditions or there are many new breweries that are growing in taugh competition where only the best may win.

Beer became favourite drink of women.One of the beer-loving females is e.g. Pamela Anderson Lee. We bring you the part of Pamela´s home-made video which she recorded for her private need with her husband Tommy. But somebody stole it by chance from they apartment, the advertisment companies and breweries got rich and we get it as the waste paper from the KGB likvidated archives. Another beer-loving celebrity is also Claudia Schiffer. She frequently visits our pub and she really nows how to thank for the well-freezed beer. She is really drinking beer quickly. We asked her if she can live without beer and here is her answer:

The meaning of beer is still raising. It really changes in word by word from the international to global. From the archives of KGB we caught the photograph from the 20. of July 1969, which made astronaut Aldrin meanwhile the Apollo11 mission. On the photograph you can see the first man on the Moon - astronaut Armstrong (with the beer). The photo wasn´ t yet in lack understanding circumstances released so we are the first to show it publicly.
