Shinji-
He stops the third impact and returns the world to normal at first he goes along with the third impact
but then he realizes that people need to be separate beings. He then recreates the world.
Asuka-(The one Kaworu takes over for)
She comes back to life after her and her eva get ripped up by the latter eva's rip her to shreds.
She is on the beach with Shinji.... either her and Shinji are alone as Adam and Eve part II or everyone is back alive and we just see them.
Rei-(a clone of Shinji's Mother, and a Angel)
She merges with Lillith... her and Kaworu are the two giant angels that guide Shinji in the third impact....
when Shinji rejects it her head falls apart into the ocean... by the way if you interpert the ending as the
second Adam and Eve she plays the role of Lillith because she is rejected by Shinji (Adam)
Kaworu-

Misato- (She's not one of the Children, but she's kewl)
Killed by the JSSDF soldier... the last thing she does is give shinji a "grown up" kiss
Gendo- (Shinji's Father)
He says he's sorry to Shinji... oh course Shinji is not around to hear him but... it's the thought that
counts... he was injured to some degree by Rei when she made him take his arm out her stomach (after Rei lost her AT feild she was ghostlike and also her arm fell off)...
