I bought this car on November 10th 2000. It cost me $4,000 (US$1800). I reckon the 3rd generation Honda Accord is a very stylish car, with features and looks that are beyond cars 5 to 10 years younger. This is the second Honda Accord 2.0Si that I've had, the first one I bought back in Janurary 1996. It lasted me three years without trouble then I sold it to buy a big V8 http://www.angelfire.com/sk/fordfalcon. The Fairmont is a cool car, but it's impractical and only gets about 18MPG! The Honda gets twice that :). Well I got sick of the petrol bill for the Fairmont, so I bought a generation 1 Honda Accord hatch for a runabout. It didn't have power steering or a heater, so I quickly got sick of that. My next car was a 1986 Honda Preude 2.0Si, which was far better. But only having two doors became too inconvenient so I sold it to my girlfriend and bought another Honda Accord 2.0Si.
I've put a cheap Pioneer CD player, an Alpine 50x4 V12 amp, a set of 6.5" Infinity and 6.5" Kenwood speakers in the Honda. It also has a 15" Rockford Fosgate DVC sub in it. The sub will be put back in the Fairmont once I've bought myself a set of 6x9 speaker pods (they came factory on the 87-89 model) and a set of Infinity Kappa 6x9" speakers.
This car has 90,000km (about 58,000 miles) on it. And it drives very nicely for a vehicle of it's age, with no rattles from either the motor, suspension or interior.
