Talet's Lyr
After walkeing awhile around the Stormstrike Lyrris of Tey'Mayon, you come across a stone leyr you hadn't seen befour. A lush forest is nearby and, as you watch, three dear like creatures bound through the trees and deeper into the forest. Just a little ways away from the forest is a riven full of clean, clear water. It's current doesn't look very strong and you can see lots of fish swimming in it. A large garden of firegrass is growing by the entrance to the weyr, and on the other side is a cliff. You walk to the edge to admire the view but a deep growling makes you turn back. You jump away as a large white winged wolf snarles at you.
"Karn, stop that." This new voice makes you turn. There's a girl standing in the doorway. She's advedrage height with long sandy colored hair pulled back into a braid and bright blue eyes. She's wearing jeans and a white shirt with a green stripe on it, and a brown leather head band. "I'm sorry, Karn is just a little over protective of the lyr. He's an air winged wolf. Since I haven't been able to find a good watchweyr for this place, he decided he'd be the guardion. And I didn't want to contridict a fully grown male wolf. That's just not a smart idea. Oh, sorry, I haven't told you my name. I'm Talet, the owner of this lyr. Come on inside."
You fallow her into the large lyr. It is light with silver, gold, and white moonstones which are imbedded in the walls. There's a large dragon nests and a small hammoc you assume is for Talet. Also, a chest like compartment for dragon armor and a shelf of scale oil and other dragon supplys are near the back wall. There's also a small desk near the hammoc with papper, pencils, drawing supplys, and books laying on it. You noitice some very beautifull drawings of dragons and riders. "Excuse me for asking Talet, but did you draw these?" "What? Oh, I thought I had put those away. Yes, there mine. I'm just an amiture. I'm hopeing to impress one of beautifull Rasha dragons from theJalanak Dragonfarm. If I get one, we'll wind up workeing in a dragon farm, mabey even Jalanak. I think it would be kind of fun, I just hope my dragon does also." You notice that she's stearing at an orange armband and cloak that are folded up on the ground beside her desk. "If I get a dragon, which I truly hope I do, I'll at first wear the color orange at the dragon farm, to show that I'm newly bonded. Then, I want to be a warrior. I know, I'm ambitious. But more than anything I want a dragon of my own. Karn is nice, but he's no substatute for a Rasha. Well, I hope you come back and see me again. It's really nice to have company.
