Hi, this is Kaycee again and I thought I'd throw together a page of softball advice I'll pass down to whoever is willing to listen
When I went to a Michelle Smith softball camp hosted by the wildcats, she was telling us about her experiences when she went to China. She said instead of swinging with heavy bats, they swing with lighter bats to get your muscles used to going faster. So when you pick up a heavier bat your muscles will swing it faster, because they are used to swinging fast.
To improve hitting, I dont have a batting cage anywhere close to where I love, so I got one of those retractable batting tees, when you hit the ball it will bounce back. Those are really good for hitting and reflexes
Dont take the game too seriously. You should play for your love of the game not because your trying to slaughter the other team.
If you strike out or ground out, it's not the end of the world. There's always next time.Dont be like the stupid guys and throw bats and stuff, and dont cry either no matter how many times u strike out. Just keep trying.
