The Disclaimers are Joshua on lead guitar and vocals Travis on Bass and vocals. Ben on backup guitar. Andrew on bass. Alex on drums.
The disclaimers got together near the end of January 1999. Back then our band was made up of Joey on drums, Joshua on guitar and Ben for vocals. We were a bunch of horible inexperienced failures who didn't have a clue what we were doing. We tried to play punk but failed miserbly. We were a discrase. Our drummer played a pop rap beat while our singer rambled on in a little babys voice and the guitarist played random chords.
After a week of horible band practices Travis and Andrew joined our band. We vowed never to let Ben sing again. Our band definetly improved but we were still horible. Now Travis sang, Andrew played bass, Ben and Josh played guitar, and Joey played the drums. Joey's drum beat improved a little we were sounding more like punk. During songs Joey played a semi punk beat, Andrew improvised on bass, Josh and Ben took turns on Guitar, and Travis sqeeked away. We were still horible.
We were planning to make a tape of our band and sell it at my school. We got many people to say that they'd by it just because they wanted to hear how bad we failed. Fortunetly the disclaimers tape was never realised.
Joey was kicked out of the band. Our band hired a drummer named Alex . We have not had a single band practice after this.
We then fired Alex and got Joey again. Joey had improved alot. Now that we had a drummer who could come to practice we had many practices. We fired Ben . Andrew quit and joined another band but we are still much better then we ever were. now that we were starting to get good we renamed ourselves F.B.Y? The disclaimers were horible from the day they got together to the day they broke up. Fortunetly my new band F.B.Y? is good. F.B.Y? will soon be a site. Check it out. I will add a link to it when it comes out.
