I have dedicated this page entirely to my friends! I know that you are the only people reading this anyway!

I met Meghan on the first day of school my sophomore year in French class. It was only by chance that we'd both taken French-she'd tried to take Spanish and I wanted to take French as a freshmen. As I surveyed the classroom, I knew then that Meg was the only person I could talk to, however, it took us both a while to not be competitive with each other and to talk to one another. Now Meghan is one of the dearest friends I have ever known. Surprisingly, we each have the same personality type according to the keirsey, but are very different. I respect Meg in that she stands up for her beliefs, even though I do not always agree with them and yet manages to keep the peace. She is a devout Catholic-I have never known a Christian less hypocritical...I think Meg understands that there is room in the world for other religions and that that helps make it interesting. She is also one of the most intelligent and dedicated people I have ever met(plus she laughs at my jokes, even when they're not funny...) I would like to brag that Meg is going to be valedictorian in 2001-she is so modest that she would never announce this herself, so I did it for her. :) There are numerous other "braggable" things about Meg, but I won't embarrass her further. Although she dresses conservatively, she has a uniqueness about her which cannot be expressed(as well as the most beautiful golden tresses I have ever laid eyes on...) We really bonded over Bios, when Meg, Rachelle and I roomed together and had a blast!
Rachelle is one of the very few people I have connected to immediately. We met on Bios, a 16 day long science trip, and "insta-bonded". Mr. Hoke thought we'd been friends for years; afterall, we'd roomed together. Before I even met her, Meghan told me that I reminded her of Rachelle and that we'd probably hit it off. Well, we did!
I met Emily through Meg and Rachelle, and suddenly the four of us became great friends, even though we attend different schools. Emily is your average Asian-smart, pretty, plays golf- only she is superliberal and is considered to be a bit odd(big surprise!). She usually has excellent taste in music(except for that 80s crap!) and "dresses up" with me. I love that she laughs and smiles all the time, even when she's got to be annoyed. She even seems to find annoying people funny! Like me, she's cheap and likes to go thrift shopping. Her favorite color is red, which means that she's exciting and adventurous. She dared to travel with me recently to the distant land of Austin for the Lilith Fair! We had a blast-there's tons more to do in Austin than in Kiwi...yummy vegetarian restaurants, hypercool vintage shopping, concerts galore and bunches of free stuff at Lilith. We also took our first ride in a cop car when we got busted for possession*snicker*, but you can read about that on Emily's site Skim Milk. Ha ha, just kidding...Emily would never do anything illegal....except maybe swim in a fountain...heh heh heh...She may look evil, but in reality, she's nice. She even admits that she's a dork! :)
I don't remember how long I've known Heather because she lived next door to my grandparents when I was very young. Eventually my family ended up in the same town as my grandparents. During my freshmen year of high school I had few female friends, and though Heather was a junior whom, at the time, hung out with the "in crowd", I decided to try to befriend her. At first she didn't want to be my friend because I was disliked by "Them" and a freshmen, however, soon we became friends once more.
