A Brief History.
HALLOWEEN-
The all time greatest
holiday
( yes much better than x-mas),
Came to be from a few different
influences.
Mostly from the noble
traditions of the IRISH/CELTIC peoples and the DRUIDS.
In the old days, at
the end of Summer the people of the land would celebrate the New year,
the harvest and honor the dead.
The time of:
SAMHAIN
At this time it was believed
that the barrier between the living and dead was most thin and spirits
roamed free.
People would decorate their
homes and dress in scary garb to ward off any unfriendly ghosts.
Add in some Roman
influence and Catholicism bring it all to AMERICA and presto.........

Is marked in America by
all manner of events ,
from Trick or Treating,
Haunted Houses , Horror movie marathons
costume partys,exotic erotic
balls,
mischievous pranks and some
downright mean ones!
It brings people together
in a way no other holiday can
by dropping our normal linear
constrictive view of life....

Q:"IS HALLOWEEN EVIL?"
A:"NO!"

Despite what some religious
nuts want you to believe.
It is not abought evil!
It is abought FUN
It is also a time when we
confront fear with a wink and a (fanged)smile!
We learn to over come fear
and how to use our imaginations.
So HALLOWEEN is a good thing.
I have seen these anti-Halloween
pages that go on and on abought
how you can spot....OH I
don't know a.....
....SATAN!worshiper among
you.
"they look just like you
and me but......"
Any how i could go
on abought these idiots but i wont.
Celebrate Halloween to its
fullest and to those people who turn off their porch lights and turn on
the sprinklers in an attempt to humbug our holiday
