SPECIES SPECIFIC INFO
A very pretty shoaling fish and would look best in a group of 4 or more. They are very active and are constantly providing movement to watch. They prefer a lot of open swimming space and thickets of vegetation. To show off their colours to their best you should add some tannin to the water and have subdued lighting. A very simple way of acheiving this is to place a piece of bodwood in the tank which gives tannin off naturally.
