In Loving Memory of Skip
So here it is. I finally get the time, the patience,
and the courage to sit hour after hour, scanning pictures and
reading poetry about my dear brother and my loss.
For those of you who have close siblings, love them dearly.
You truly don't know what's going to happen tomorrow.
My brother, Skip Johnson, was more than a sibling,
more than a roommate, he was my best friend. I never could
imagine a life without him; without his smile,
without his laugh, and without his big strong arms that always
took good care of his big sister. Unfortunately and beyond
my control, a serious car accident on November 29, 1998
took away two of my best friends. Skip Johnson,
and Frank Carico. The three car collision critically injured
about 4 people. Myself being one of them.
I have many what-ifs and I should have done this'. But nothing
can change the aweful tragedy now. I can only pray to them,
and know that one day, we all will be happily together
again.
This page consists of poetry that was researched for the
sole purpose of me and my family's loss. I have a page of
photographs of my brother and I growing up together.
There will also be a page of my brother and his friends.
Those are the most recent pictures of my handsome brother.
Soon, I would like to create a page of fun stories
that my brother and his friends have shared. I urge you to
email me and tell me
all the stories you can think of regarding that incredibly
fun guy SKIP. I can post them on this page if you like.
Thank you for visiting the page that is In Loving Memory of Skip.
I love you.
