Shannen was born on April 12^th 1971 in Memphis Tennessee. She moved to Los Angelas at the age of seven.

In addition to starring in The WB's "Charmed," Dohrety starred on the hit TV series Beverly Hills 90210. She got her start on "Little House on the Prairie", and was a regular on "Our House". Shannen's movies

include "Heathers", "The Ticket", "Nowhere", "Sleeping with the Devil","Mallrats", and "A Burning Passion: the Margret Mitchell Story".

 In her new Aaron Spelling hit Shannen plays Prue, the beautiful and driven oldest sister, who has the power to move objects. Prue works in a museum, where her ex-fiance Roger is her boss. She's very skeptical when Phoebe, her youngest sister, tells her that she believes the sisters are witches.
