Age Division Entry Fee: $100  (MANDATORY)
There will be a winner &2 runners up chosen in each age division. Winner receives a crown, title sash, and trophy. The runner ups will receive a trophy as well. EVERY contestant will leave with a gift, no one goes home empty handed. Judging is based on facial beauty, smile, eye contact, modeling/poise, personality/confidence, dress/attire, & overall appearance.

 

Prettiest Eyes:(INCLUDED in above fee)
There will be a winner chosen in each age division. Winner receives  a title banner and gift. Judging is based on eye contact during group line-up.
 
Prettiest Hair:(INCLUDED in above fee)
There will be a winner chosen in each age division. Winner receives a title banner and gift. Judging is based on hairstyle during group line-up. *Make sure it is age appropriate, NO hair extensions or pieces*

 

Prettiest Smile:(INCLUDED in above fee)
There will be a winner chosen in each age division. Winner receives a title banner and small gift. Judging is based on smile during group line-up. **NATURAL is BEST**

 

Most Beautiful: (OPTIONAL) $10
There will be a winner chosen in each age division. Winner receives a trophy and title banner. Judging is based on facial beauty during group line-up.

 

Best Fashion: (OPTIONAL) $10
There will be a winner chosen in each age division. Winner receives a trophy and title banner. Judging is based on  the dress and casual wear during competition.

**REMEMBER it’s not how MUCH you spend on your outfit it’s HOW you WEAR it!!**

 

Photogenic:: (OPTIONAL) 1 for $10 or  2for $15
There will be a winner chosen in each age division. Winner receives a trophy and title banner. Judging  is based on the photo turned in at registration; you will receive your picture back after the competition. *DON’T  MAIL YOUR PHOTO!*  (Pictures should be no larger than 8x10 & may be color or black and white. NO FRAMES, but plastic covers are accepted!)
Judging based on  clarity, quality, personality and eye contact. Headshots with direct eye contact are best!

 

Overall Winner (MUST enter all of the above categories to be eligible)
If there are 20 or more contestants in the pageant, there will be 2 Grand Overall Winners (one from 0-5years & one from 5-17 years). If there are less than 20 contestants, there will only be 1 Grand Overall Winner chosen from the entire pageant. Winners receive a crown, trophy, and title banner.

                                                                                        ATTIRE following casual wear
Pageant dresses are recommended but NOT required. All dresses should be age appropriate (since the dress is a small portion of the judging any type of dress is allowed). This is a NATURAL  system that does NOT like anything fake (hair, teeth, tans, etc…..) Contestants should wear little to no make-up. We are looking for natural beauty. *Contestants with too much make-up or dresses & hairstyles that aren’t age appropriate will be counted off.* Those deductions may or may not affect whether you win or not--we are looking for the TOTAL package and personality, poise, confidence and eye contact are IMPORTANT1!!!

 

                                                                                 CASUAL WEAR following interview
This is an outfit of choice!! Wear something cutesy. Store bought or custom-made is fine. You can have ruffles, ribbons, and bows, but  lots of stones are not recommended. Removable clothing is NOT acceptable! Must be age appropriate and tasteful!! Remember it isn’t how much you spend it’s how you wear it!!!
JUDGING based on modeling/poise 1-10, personality/confidence 1-10, smile 1-5, eye contact 1-10, attire /overall appearance 1-10

 

                                                                                      INTERVIEW 9:00 am
Every contestant competes in this competition. This is a chance for the judges to see the contestants up close and personal. For 0-5 years division, parent (ONLY 1) will bring child in and introduce their child by name and number; parents should dress appropriately. For age 5-17 years the contestant will come in as a group and be required to introduce themselves by name & number. The contestant will have 30 seconds to answer. Questions will be age appropriate and easy to answer. Attire for ALL age divisions  is a red or pink shirt, denim bottoms (can be any pants, shorts, skirt, etc..) and clean shoes ( any style EXCEPT Flip flops, must be closed toe!!)  JUDGING based on personality/confidence 1-10, eye contact 1-10, smile 1-10, and overall appearance 1-10.

 

                                                         PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD FREE TO ENTER
This is for the  young lady who sells the most raffle tickets!!  You can ask anyone and everyone to vote for you!!! The raffle tickets cost $5 and all proceeds will be donated to Unlimited Opportunities in Boonville. The young lady who sells the most raffle tickets will win the crown and present the check to Unlimited Opportunities!!  Here is a little bit about UO….

Located in Boonville, Missouri, Unlimited Opportunities, Inc. was founded in 1991 to provide housing services to men and women with disabilities. UOI currently provides housing for 35 men and women. In 1996 an adult day program, children's services and supported employment program were added to the list of services provided. UOI currently serves 213 men, women and children with disabilities.
Boonslick Industries, Inc., the extended employment sheltered workshop, was founded in December of 1976 and provides employment for men and women with disabilities. Employment opportunities at BII include a recycling program, an upscale resale store, maintenance of rest areas on Interstate 70 near Boonville, and an adult day program which provides work training opportunities.
In 2009 and 2010 UOI was voted best Adult Care and best Non-Profit Organization, and Savvy Seconds, the Unique Resale Store, was voted best Clothing and best Resale Store by readers of the 'Boonville Daily News.'

                                                                                          CONDUCT
Good sportsmanship is  a MUST by parents and contestants. Rude conduct and fowl language will NOT be tolerated before, during or after the pageant. We reserve the right to dismiss anyone, without a refund!!! Every contestant is a “shining star” and we expect the parents to make them feel that way, whether they are you daughter or not. Applaud one another and have fun!!!!

MODELING
There will be not over -exaggerated facial expressions, no heavy arm movements or swaying when walking. You should keep it smooth, elegant and professional!!  Feel free to sass it up in casual wear and have fun but nice and professional in the beauty wear!

 

JUDGES
We have taken every precaution possible to keep the judges from knowing the contestants and/or their families. Their decisions are final, and their score sheets and comments will be mailed one - two weeks after the pageant!! We ask that you do not approach the judges before, during or after the competition; we do not want them to feel threatened, pressured, or uncomfortable. Remember everyone has a difference of opinion and to each of us our daughters are always going to be number 1 ( that’s why my daughter can’t compete!! ;-) ) Just kidding!!   Remember this is a great character building , and growing experience!! HAVE FUN!!!!! That’s what we are here for!!!!
