A little five year old daughter of Uriah Fetterman, of Roaringcreek township, in company with other children were playing with a grind stone, on Thursday, when in some manner the stone was overturned and fell on the little girl. The wood covering on the handle had been broken off leaving nothing but a thin round iron which struck the little child in the eye and penetrated the head to the depth of several inches. It was truly a heartrending scene when the family found their little one so horribly and painfully and fatally injured. Death soon relieved the poor child and she is now at rest in the bright home beyond the skies.
