October 13th, 2005 Update:
The LYF is back to meeting again every weds. night. We have been watching some videos and have some great conversations about "why bad things happen". We hope to see you all next week at 6:30pm for our next regular get together. As always keep up to date by checking our regular write-up in the bulletin and by looking at our calendar page here on the website to see what is coming up soon. October 30th, we will be having a Scavenger Hunt at 1:30pm. And just for all of you who were at the meeting yesterday, here's a little inside joke for you...

April 15th, 2005 Update:
Just another quick update for you all. 1st, we are still meeting at 6pm on weds. and have been continuing our series by Pam Stenzel. 2nd, I have updated the calendar page with our summer meeting schedule, so stop in their and mark your planners with the meeting dates. Also, remember to bring along your planners to our meeting this week. Last, a reminder about the SD state LCMS Youth gathering "Courageous Faith : Bold Witness" takes place from July 25th-27th in Huron. If you are interested in going, then you need to come to next week's meeting (or contact either Angie or myself). It should be an outstanding gathering with very special guest Rev. Terry Dittmer, who is nationally the head of LYF and director of Youth Ministry for the LCMS.

April 2nd, 2005 Update:
Hey gang! We have resumed our regular weds. night meetings again since Lent is over. I hope you all had a very Blessed Easter, He is Risen!! We will still have our meeting this week despite Confirmation's Oral Exams being held upstairs. This week we will be starting a multi-week video series by speaker Pam Stenzel (some of you may remember her from camp a couple years ago.) I believe it is entitled "Sex Has a Price Tag". We will be discussing God's view on the subjects of sex and relationships. For more on Pam, visit her website (a link has been added to our "links" page. March 2005 Update:
Hey everyone! We all had a great time on our ski trip. There are a few pictures I just put up over in our photos & pics section. Go check them out! Remember that our regular meetings start back up after Easter. Be sure to check the Calendar page to find out all about our upcoming events, projects, and meetings. It is all up to date. In the meantime, go look into our links page to go to a couple of fun sites you might find interesting including the great site for teens put together by the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod called... the e-Source. The mitchellyouth.com site is nearing the 100% finished mark. Still a couple sections need finished (the about us page, the 2nd page of links, & some tweaking on the main page is all).
