Both teams have been HOT, but as much as I hate to admit it, Bonds will be the difference. Not so much what his numbers say, but getting on base and providing his teammates with opportunities to drive in runs. Just like the NLCS, where Benito went off.
The Ohio State Buckeyes (7-0) are now the #4 team in the nation thanks to anoter Texas flop. Buckeye fans can relate to not being able to beat your rival in those years it seems you can't lose. Without a doubt it will come down once again to November 23rd in The Shoe when they host Michigan. I'll most likely be pitching in my first game in Venezuela while Maurice Clarett nails down the Heisman.
Clarett has now rushed for 847 yards, 6.5 yd/carry, and 13 touchdowns in 6 games. He and Seneca Wallace have to be 1-2 right now. Grossman is way off the radar, Dorsey doesn't put up the numbers, and Charlie Rogers hasn't had the great game yet. ESPN is now saying Clarett is thinking about the NFL. The rules say he's too young, but he might challenge the NFL. I don't think that will happen, but it lets you know just how good the kid is.
I finished 3-4 with a 5.86 there to go along with 8-5, 3.41 in Tulsa. Overall, I pitched 164 innings, the most in my career. I felt pretty good throughout the year and once again avoided any injuries... KNOCK ON WOOD!.
