ABOUT THE BOOK
The title of my book came about as I was writing a poem
The poem was originally called "bio"
it was to describe me, what i liked, what i was like...
one of the lines had the words "Love is... addict" in it
which is the name of my favorite comic Love is...
I needed a word that rhymed with the word addict
As I'm addicted to my poems (I'm my biggest fan) :)
I thought, why not "Poem-atic"?
At first, I thought I had made up this word
without realizing that this word was already in the dictionary
When it was decided that I would call my book "Poem-atic"
the title of the poem was no longer "bio" but the word itself
"Poem-atic" is a collection of poems in which word play is one of its main ingredients
Imagine if we could order a baby at our favorite restaurant. How fantastic is that?
Or literally eat a "hot" dog. The thought!
How about riding a poem all the way to South America?
Many of us can write poems, but have you ever ridden one?
