The Civil Air Patrol, the offical auxiliary of the US Air Force is a humanitarian and educational organization which serves thousands of communities across America via three Congressionally chartered missions: Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs, and Emergency Services (search & rescue, disaster relief, humanitarian services and homeland security).
Philip Composite Squadron is one of over 2,000 units from coast to coast including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico and the only mounted unit in the United States!
Philip Composite Squadron and the 53rd Mounted Patrol celebrated its 10th Anniversary in 2002.
