Ton Lokhoff
was born in Breda on X-mas day 1959, he played, like his father, for NAC Breda.
He was a
talented center-half that got his transfer to PSV Eindhoven in 1982. Ton played
his first cap in 1984 (11th of November) in Vienna, 1-0 loss against Austria. And
his second in Budapest 1-0 win over Hungary in 14th of May 1985.
After PSV
he played for the French side Olympique Nimes and came back in Holland in 1988
to play for Feyenoord Rotterdam. In 1990/91 season he came back to where he
belongs: at NAC in Breda.
Lokhoff
never scored a goal for the National Team, but got a name as "Mister
NAC", since 1998 he was assistant-coach at NAC Breda. After Ten Cate’s
move to Fc Barcelona Ton became NAC headcoach in the 2003-04 season.
